Introduction

Zillow Data Exporter is a free tool that allows you to export property data from Zillow.

This version took a while to get out as it encompasses a significant number of changes.

The changes are related to the display of exported properties for rent and the ability to export more attributes from the listings.

What's new

1. You can now export the following attributes from properties for rent:

• Zillow property ID
• Property has images
• Property is a building
• Building name
• Unit availability count (number of units available in the building according to Zillow)
• Property has 3D model

2. You can now export the following attributes from properties for sale:

• Zillow property ID
• Property has images
• Property has 3D model
• Property has video
• Pre-foreclosure auction status

3. You can now export the following attributes from sold properties:

• Zillow property ID
• Property has images
• Property has 3D model
• Property has video

4. You can also now export all the images from each listing. This setting is global and will apply to all listing types.

5. When exporting properties for rent, you can now choose to export the data about each unit available in the building. This means that in your spreadsheet, you will have one row per unit available in the building and 1 row for the building itself. If this setting is not enabled, you will only have one row per building.

6. We also started looking into ways to reduce the size/weight of the extension. The goal is to reduce the weight of the extension by 50% by the end of the year. This will allow the extension to load faster and be more responsive and should alleviate some of the issues that some users are experiencing.

Install

The extension is available for free on the Chrome Web Store.

The update should have been applied automatically, but you can also manually update the extension by following the detailed guide located on the this page.
