Introduction

Zillow Data Exporter is a free tool that allows you to export property data from Zillow.

This version is all about improving the user experience. I have completely redesigned the UI to make it more intuitive and easier to use.

Thi version also makes the import process more robust for users using the free version and also lays the ground work for the upcoming re-branding of the extension.

What's new

Bugfixes

1. Fixed an issue where some users reported some issues when exporting data from Zillow with the free version of the extension.

Upcoming name change

Zillow Data Exporter will be renamed to Property Data Labs in the upcoming months.

I am doing this to better reflect the direction I want to take the extension in the future and also avoid any potential trademark issues with Zillow.

This change should be completely transparent for you and you should not have to do anything to keep using the extension.

Install

The extension is available for free on the Chrome Web Store.

The update should have been applied automatically, but you can also manually update the extension by following the detailed guide located on the this page.

Re-enable the extension

If you were using the extension before, you might have to re-enable it. This is because the extension now requires your permission to run on the Property Data Labs website as well as Zillow Data Exporter website.

This is necessary to allow the extension to work properly with the upcoming name and domain change.

Please follow the steps below to reactivate the extension:

1. Click on the extension icon in the top right corner of your browser.

2. Click on the Manage extensions button.

3. Trigger the manual update.

4. Re-enable the extension.

5. Go to Zillow and refresh the page.

6. You should now see the new UI and you should test that the extension is working properly.
